Come join Rick for a great Saturday morning cooking class.
Each Class is $80.00 per person and includes three hours of instruction, followed by a delicious lunch.

Gnocchi and Risotto - June 19th, 2010

Learn to make beautiful Gnocchi and Risotto just like you have enjoyed at the Waterboy.

Learn to make Potato Gnocchi and a couple simple sauces:
Brown Butter and Sage Tomato Cream

Risottos will include:
Fish & Shellfish
Saffron, Mushroom and Prosciutto

 


Basic Cooking Techniques - July 24th, 2010

Learn how to get the food from the pan to the plate. Learn all the same techniques, methods and ideas we use in the Waterboy kitchen.

Sauté, pan roasting, steaming etc.

Covers meat, fish and vegetables.

If you are really into cooking, and want to do it like a professional, this is a class you can't miss.

 

Quintessential Summer Produce Class - August 14th, 2010

This is the class for all of you gardener/cooks:

You planted it all in April and now you’re inundated with beautiful produce (or you just cant say no to all of the kind folks at the farmers market) no worries. Covering all dishes we do in the summer.

There are so many things this may be a four hour class, so be ready!

Pasta, Cooking It, Saucing It, Understanding It - September 11th, 2010



We will be concentrating on good quality dry pastas, the ones you can find at a good market, everyday. Which sauce for which noodle, etc.

Tomato Sauce, Cream Sauce, Butter & Olive Oil, Gratins, Pesto and our Classic Bolognese.

This might be the best class to learn how to cook beautiful food, healthfully, and all things considered, cost effectively.
